A new layout

I’ve given Chosaq a completely new layout (feed subscribers, fire up your browsers) — enjoy its new, minty identity. Some details:

• WordPress 2.x under the hood.
• A new Archives Overview page, powered by Justin Blanton’s Smart Archives plugin.
• Another new feature is the Related Entries block below individual blog entries. Powered by the WordPress Related Entries 2.0 plugin. (What is not 2.0, these days?)
• Enhanced search with the Search Everything plugin: you can search through comments now, too. One problem though (unrelated to the plugin in question): “exact phrase” searches do not seem to work (anymore?). Quotes are converted to /// — if anybody has a solution for this problem, let me know.
• Other plugins used are Dofollow, Akismet and WP-DB backup: all highly recommended.
• The icons you see are all part of Mark James’ CC licensed “Silk” icon set: I just love them!
• There is no redesigned profile page yet: a new version is in the works. Profile page is updated as of last week. And yes, that’s me playing the banjo.
• All the feeds continue working, but I’m only pointing to the Atom 1.0 feed in the page head section and sidebar.
• I have upgraded the Creative Commons license to Attribution 2.5. If you don’t want your already posted comment to be released under the new 2.5 license, let me know.
